Unlike regular "land-line" telephones, or even cell phones, if you are working remotely using your company's Voice Over IP (VOIP) telephone system (e.g., 3CX, RingCentral), if you dial 911 on that phone the 911 Call Center will NOT get your actual home address. Instead, they will most likely be sent your company's office address. That's because most IT and phone administrators default to the office address when setting up the phone system and the massive move to virtual/home offices has most likely left your phone's E911 information incorrect.

Get with your IT/phone administrator and be sure to update the address for your VOIP extension. It should be the address where you are working, and in this case that means your home address. That way if you need to dial 911 then first responders will go to the correct address.
