Course Objectives

This one-day course is intended for individuals who wish to gain the foundational understanding of Microsoft Office Excel 2016 that is necessary to create and work with electronic spreadsheets. You will learn to navigate the Excel interface, create a workbook file and enter cell data, create basic formulas and functions such as sum and average, format cells and modify worksheet data and structure, explore reusable templates and printing options, as well as organize data using multiple worksheet tabs, views, and properties.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to create and manage Excel worksheets and workbook files in order to work with and analyze the data that is critical to your success either individually or in your career.

This course covers Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification objectives to help you prepare for the Excel 2016 Associate Exam and/or the Excel 2016 Expert Exam.
