Add a new device to the Cloud Management Console in GFI MAX Backup

You want to backup a device to the Cloud Management Console in GFI MAX Backup.


This assumes you already have the device in GFI MAX Backup and want to add the device to the Cloud Management Console.

  1. Open Cloud Management Console and log in.
  2. Select the client that you wish to add a new device for and click the add device button in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. The add device dialog opens put a name for the device and make sure to select the correct operating system for the device and click next.
  4. Now you will see a summary of the device added with a password, PIN and a link to download the backup Manager. Click finish and install the manager on the device to be backed up.
