Relocation to developing Baton Rouge hub an exciting and prosperous move for local IT Company.
BATON ROUGE, LA – 1779 Government Street became the new home and headquarters of Puryear IT on Friday, June 17, 2016. The historic property, built in 1921, was purchased and renovated by Puryear earlier this year and has been transformed into an innovative centre of operations and customer service.
Puryear IT is a leading IT Managed Service Provider that implements, maintains and monitors the computer networks of mid-sized companies throughout the region. Founded in 2002 by Dustin Puryear, Puryear IT has steadily grown and fostered success by delivering expert advice and professional service to companies throughout Louisiana. While Puryear IT works with a wide range of clients, most of whom are adamant that they simply want IT solutions that “just work”. That’s where Puryear IT’s comprehensive range of IT strategies and solutions come in.
Founder and CEO Dustin Puryear stated that the move to Government Street was, in part, a recognition of the revitalization of that part of Baton Rouge. “Government Street is a gentrifying area. There is a lot of buzz around it and downtown Baton Rouge. That’s one of the reasons that we purchased and renovated this building for our new office here in Baton Rouge.” Puryear claims he’s excited for what’s to come following this exciting relocation. “We love the feel of the area and want to be a part of what it is becoming.”
The new office of Puryear IT boasts, not only a prime Baton Rouge location, but the guiding vision of the Puryear team has fostered a sleek and modern interior design. Additionally, the innovative workspace layout reflects the workflow and vision of a modern tech company.
Puryear and his team couldn’t be happier about moving forward in this new space. “We’re extremely excited. First and foremost we get more space, which we need as we’re continually adding people to our team. But we’ve also been able to take an empty building on Government St. and turn it into something modern and exciting for our company and for those living on and around Government Street. We’re excited to be part of the revitalization of mid-city and downtown Baton Rouge.”
