You want to enable Windows crash dumps to help you determine why your Windows PC is crashing and/or getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).
This is done via Advanced settings in My Computer.
- Right-click on My Computer
- Click on Properties
- Click on Advanced
- In the Startup and Recovery section, click on Settings.
- In the System Failure section, select “Kernel memory dump” in “Write debugging information”. Be sure “Overwrite any existing file” is enabled.
- Click Ok until you fully exit the settings windows.
