Some of your Outlook Web Access (OWA) users are complaining that the Search feature is not returning any results.
You need to rebuild the Microsoft Exchange 2010 Search Index. This is done via PowerShell for Exchange.
- Open up PowerShell for Exchange.
- Navigate to %PROGRAMFILES%MicrosoftExchange ServerV14Scripts.
- Run the following command:
.ResetSearchIndex.ps1 -force -all
- Once this is done, it can take some time, up to 24 hours before the index is rebuilt.
Keep in mind this is the index of all emails for each user, so the times can exceed 24 hours if there is enough data to index.
