Show the version of your Cisco PIX or Cisco ASA

You need to get the version and serial number of your Cisco ASA.


From the Cisco CLI you need to:

  1. Log into the Cisco CLI
  2. Issue the command:
    pix>show version

You’ll see output like:

User Access Verification

Type help or ‘?’ for a list of available commands.
pix> show version
