Money in Excel

Microsoft recently launched Money in Excel, a dynamic template currently available with Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions only, that can securely connect and track all of your online financial accounts - in one place in real time.

Watch this video to see an overview then follow these steps to get started:

  1. Open Excel and select New > Money in Excel template.
  2. Excel creates a Money in Excel workbook file with step-by-step instructions and provides a navigation pane to guide you through the process of syncing your financial accounts.
  3. See your transactions from all accounts in one place to understand how you are spending your money.
  4. See a snapshot showing trends in your monthly spending so that you are always on top of your finances.
  5. Customize your financial picture using its templates.
